Sore Throat...but I got rid of the Granny Square monsters....

Hello Ladies...

Well here we are nearly at the end of another week, and I have to say me and The Sue are cream crackered, plus I have a sore throat to boot but its not all bad news.

The news my dear blogging chums is that I have cracked granny squares! Its only taken me nearly 3 weeks of practicing but its clicked. Thankyou for your words of encouragement, cause if anything I wanted to show you that Its possible, even someone like me who isn't naturally gifted really with a needle and thread... can do it xxx

So anyway, I hope you all find yourselves well in these snowy cold days...and ready for another weekend.

Thought I would also leave you a picture of the LOVELY CK bag I got for Christmas xxx

Love Sam xx

Congrats on mastering the granny square!! I love the soft colours you used. The CK bad is gorgeous too - very envious!

We had lots of snow here overnight - all schools closed, so both kids at home today. Tom's not very keen on the deep snow, in fact, he looks a bit depressed, bless him! Even the post man couldn't make it today - we can't wait for your little surprise to arrive!

Well done on the granny square... it takes time to get it right. My first few cushions are rubbish when I look at them now!!
It's snowing here ... I'm so excited!!!!! I haven't looked out the window for 10mins 'cos I'm afraid it will have stopped!! It was coming down so heavy everything was covered very quickly ..... yipee!!!! :)

Well done on the granny squares, that one is lush! Hope your bad throat is better soon, if it hangs on promise you'll go to the docs because I had mine a month before penicillin finally shifted it and I wondered why I'd waited so long :-S

Divine bag, I'm v jealous! Mel xxx

Wonderful. I remember the feeling of euphoria I felt when I finally "got" it.

Lovely and do you have a grandiose plan for your new skills?
