I also wonder where she gets her prices from!! I love the new collection but it's getting out of my price range. In saying that I'm hoping to go to Bristol in my hols to get some treats!! :)
You could save your pennies and buy me the Roberts radio that Cath Suggests you buy your Hostess. You can come and stay all year if you bring that 'he he'! Have a good weekend. ((Hugs)) for you and Silkie Sue Beki xxx
I have changed my tack now with CK, I only buy the fabrics really, the china - well you can buy nicer bone china in charity and antiques shops. Tea towels - why would you when they take 10 mins to make?! Bags - Hen can make a much nicer one in any of her fabrics, not plastic! I now make the egg cosies and tea cosies in any of her fabrics = much more choice than she offers. As for the bed clothes, I proved the other week that you can buy some equally lovely rose bed clothes in other shops if you look. That's my take on CK. :-)
Sorry if it was you I said this to yesterday but I got the latest CK catalogue (gave in and requested one online!) and there was nothing in it that I really wanted. A few things that I wouldn't mind having but nothing that had me calculating how I could get it. Bit disappointing really :(
Thanks for stopping in to Nini Makes. I agree 69.00 is WAY too much for plastic. Just got back from Waitrose and they have loads of CK big china cups for only $4, that's not a sale, normal price! I think that's cheaper than the little ones in the catalogue. Great price for a little CK fix :)

If it were made in Britain, I think the price would be ok if it's well made with quality materials but as it's likely been made in China, well...

Most of the stuff is now....oh the days when it was made here, I have a few items, the oilcloth was better quailty.....
I have sent back my slippers from Christmas, they soles split and the fabric was wearing away.....dreadful...
However I still like her stuff.....still far too tempting!x
