A little boy Rabbit called William...

After much cutting and sewing.. a little shy Rabbit...a close friend of Hamish has come to stay..

whos rather partial to a carrot or two..

even though they are almost as big as him..hes not letting them out of his sight..

especially as he is missing his cotton tail...

promise I will fix that William..xx

and as for WIlliam, he has decided to retire with a book..

Thats some very good reading material for round here William ...

Sam xx

PS..don't tell William, but he is made from a version of my 'Hamish' pattern...german dusky grey mohair, hes smaller, fully jointed with cotterpins, and weighted the old fashioned way so his tummy has a nice 'sag'...or maybe thats all the carrots...

Well if ever you needed confirmation that this is what you should be doing with your life then surely William is it!!! He is absolutely gorgeous - it's the expression on his face (and Hamish and Stanley too) that makes him and the others so special, do show us his tail too when he has it! xx

Gosh you have been busy - puts me to shame! All I've done sewing wise in recent months is give a tiger new eyes & even that was a struggle with a not-quite-fixed finger.

William is just adorable.

What a special rabbit, and I approve of the name William.

When she was 2 my daughter got a mint green rabbit, with flowery ears, she called him William, and nearly 17 years later he still sits on her bed.

He's very cute, and I think a definate revival of old fashioned toys for sensible (non sueing) type parents is required... I did a teddy bear making workshop and the lady taking it told us that with the glass eyes and the cotter pin joints that they weren't safe for children... how rediculous! anyway beautiful can't wait to see more!
