Blog Blank

Helllooo!

Well lately I have been having a bit of a blog blank.

I didn't want to keep waffling on about things that aren't that interesting.

For example, I don't expect you want to hear that Miss Silkie has decided that meaowng really loudly for food/attention/or that that she is about to have a wee at 5 am most mornings...(And then me feeling really guilty ignoring her meow that sounds more like a cows moo - when in actual fact she was about to turn into Wolverine cause a massive cat had got in..) is a really good idea.

and because of that I had to go back to bed again - then jump up again as the rain had come down AGAIN when I had only just put my washing out..

Oh and that I NEVER seem to stop cleaning or doing house work...

But I have had a nice colouring project to do for another beloved Blogger, I have had more sleep than usual - so I don't feel like my normal zombie state, and I have decided even at the grand old age of 35 to start reading my beloved Enid Blyton books again...

How good are they????

I'm still on the hunt for my own faraway tree and wishing chair!

Happy soggy sunday!

If you find the Faraway Tree please can you tell me where it is because I want to visit the land of sweets....not sure about some of the more nastier places they had there. Say hi to Moonface for me, and tell him I can't WAIT to go on the slide to get to the bottom of the tree.

Oh, I really should get out more! LOL Actually I think it is a great idea to re-read these books, of course I would have to read them to my little ones'...but I am sure they would enjoy them too!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend. xx

Hey Sam, thanks for stopping by, i seem to have plenty to say on my posts but no time to say it! Mind you ive had a childfree day today and seem to have done diddly squat!
I was going to cook roast but never got the meat out of the freezer, i was going to pain my dining room chairs but the forecast was rain so i shelved the idea-and its been sunny all day! No doubt there are countless other jobs to do but ive been distracted by a steady flow of farmers today, all wanting coffee! When the girls are back i think we'll have to bake a cake as there will be plenty more of them stopping by this week. I must also say i absolutely love your doggy paintings, expecially the springy spaniel, you're so so clever! Might have to commission you, is your shop open yet?

My boys (great excuse) and I have just moved on from the Famous Five to Swallows and Amazons - children's books can be great!

I'm really admiring your dog paintings. This is very speculative, but would you consider doing a painting of my son and his dog (from a photo)? I don't know how you feel about painting people. Do email me if you think that this might work out, but don't worry if it desn't!

I had that Enid Blyton book, with the same cover when I was around 10!!! Wish I'd kept them all!!
Could you let me know how much it would cost to get one of your dog paintings from a photo. I have a thought about an ideal present for someone. I believe you have my e-mail address, from when I won the lovely rose print from you.If you don't then please let me know.
Have a great week : )

I know how you feel, it's hard to think of things to write about... I thought my life was just boring!!!
We have a black cat that comes in sometimes...nanny hates it & crys really loud. All last week I had 2 cats fighting outside my bedroom window....always about 3am :( Not happy!! :)

Hi sweetie!
Thank you for the lovely comment about my home!

I love re-reading old books.....Enid is a fave of mine...mine are all at my mums....must get them back!

I love Autumn and Winter!
Much better than summer!
I find the city too noisy, too many ppl and too much madness!
It calms down nicely for the rest of the yr!
