I'm not really domesticated.
So there won't ever be photographs of any things I've baked or cooked here!
Don't worry though I'm not completely feral! I keep a tidy clean house, I wash up and wash our clothes.. But there are so many other things I would rather be doing with the limited time I have when I'm not working, (and cooking is something I can easily avoid...my poor husband!)...
like making little purses out of scraps of CK fabric, toying with the idea of having a go at making a bear from a vintage sewing book I found in a charity shop, crocheting, painting...pottering in my box room... soaking in the bath reading Now Magazine, playing with Miss Sue ;), watching old spooky black and white films...
I also avoid Ironing...at all costs..
I wouldn't make a very good house wife really...

me too. I think i have ironed twice in my life (for job interviews) and an old lady in charity shop laughed at me today - i was buying some vintage cookie cutters and she asked me if i was planning on baking a lot - and I admitted that i collect them but never really use them!
Uh, are we sisters? I rarely cook. The spices in my pantry are who knows how old. Though I did do a purging and throw most of them out not long back. I rarely iron. Unless it's something like a vintage tablecloth. I'm not much of a wife either. I'm a good pet mom though. A fairly good decorator and gardener. A volunteer in my community. I see these phenomenal photos of food served up on blogs. And I want to want to cook. I just can't summon up the desire!

a woman after my own heart life is definately to short for house work although sadly i do feel happier when my lounge is tidy which isn't often
