One of the nicest gifts I have ever had...
Presents!
Well over the last few days I have been lucky enough to get a couple of unexpected presents which I would like to show you.
The first is from Mr M - A bottle of the new Pure Bloom fragrance from Sarah Jessica Parker (Who I love!!) and a lovely trinket box, bracelet and a hand painted card from my dear friend Ag - I am spoilt!!
(Oh and in one of the photos you can see the DVD Bell Book and Candle- with the amazing Kim Novac and Jimmy Stewart)
If you have never seen this film - rent it - its wonderful for a rainy evening -especially if you you love magical films!!

Making things....
Well my crafting adventures really started with making sock and glove toys - which were so instant and easy to make, so I thought I would try something a little bit more advanced. So I purchased a 1970s toy book and made my friend an owl with some vintage fabric - I think he came out quite well!! (Don't look too closely!)
The other little fella is 'Birdi the cat Pillow'....who looks a tad wonky! Poor little chap!

Everyone should have a Moley
Hi Bloggers! This little chap is Moley - well not the 'real' one as that one belongs to my friend Miss Cartwheel;0) I came across these sweet little creatures in Asda - they still sell them and are only a few pennies - so you could sneek one in your weekly shop. Its a shame, but since discovering Tescos Shopping on line I don't visit Asda any more!!

Lunch Club
Hi Bloggers - I must tell you all about lunch club.
At work we had a room that resembled the Matrix interview room - no one used. So Miss Cartwheel (My chum) decided to buy some spotty Laura Ashley oil cloth and transformed our boring cold dining room into a shabby chic eatery - well almost but
we all sit in there come 1 o'clock, its rather sweet really - oh and a hello to Mr B - you know who you are;0)

Mr M and his Animation
Hallo Bloggers! I thought I would mention that Mr M is an arty bod too - he is very clever and can do lots of technical things on the computer including animation - which you can see here..http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x3afqf_one-small-step-640x480
I think he should really work at Pixar - (How Cute is Wall-e)Mr M bought me my own mini Wall-e - but I don't turn him on much as The Sue isn't keen:0)

Silkie Sue
As promised here is a picture of the lovely Queen Silkie Sue xx
She is the most adorable pussy cat - very affectionate and chatty (She really does talk!)
Silkie used to be a Bengal Queen - she was used to breed for her kittens - which makes me really sad...but she has
a lovely retirement with us and is very spoilt!
Blog excitment!
Hello Bloggers
Well here I am ... I have been visiting blogs for about 2 years now and have poored over the pictures and stories so now I have (With some help from a new chum) set up a blog. I fear it could be rather addictive but I don't mind.. you will have to bear with me and I hope a few people out there will read my ramblings.
Well a little about me - I'm an illustrator in the day and by night I love crafting and making things...I live in a 1960's house which is really a cottage in the country side (Well in my head it is) So apologies to Mr M for the old objects and worn out toys and things that I sneek into the house! We share our house with our precious cat Queen Silkie Sue - who is the most adorable Bengel cat ever - some pictures of her will be following as soon as possible. Silkie really is in charge of us, and I will tell you all about her at a later date.. sorry I am a mad cat woman now xxx
